Replacement of the artesian well at Cap-de-Bon-Désir

Construction of a new artesian well within the clearance zone of the current Cap-de-Bon-Désir well, near the entrance to Cap-de-Bon-Désir Road. The current well, approximately 30 feet deep, does not have sufficient pumping capacity to adequately supply the site's sanitary block. The new well will compensate for this shortfall by drilling to a greater depth and installing appropriate casing. The existing well could be retained if the pumping capacity of the new well proves insufficient. Otherwise, it will be dismantled.
