Rehabilitation of the Louis-S. St-Laurent Building Envelop

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to proceed with the rehabilitation of the Louis S. St-Laurent building envelop, a Federal Heritage Building. The building is located in the Old Quebec district of the La Cité-Limoilou borough in Quebec City. It is located at 3, passage du Chien-d'Or, at the junction of côte de la Montagne and the Buade and du Fort streets. The rehabilitation work will maintain the integrity of the building while preserving its heritage value. The proposed works include the complete rehabilitation of the vertical envelope of the building, the waterproofing of the foundations and the reconfiguration of the drainage around the building. All demolition materials will be removed and managed according to current regulations. At the end of the work, landscaping will be put in place.
