Historic viewpoint at Cap-de-Bon-Désir lighthouse

The aim of the project is to create a historic viewpoint offering a view of the St. Lawrence estuary from the base of the Cap-de-Bon-Désir lighthouse. To achieve this, a 20-degree opening in the forest canopy will be made in autumn 2025. The initial intervention will involve cutting back the vegetation blocking the line of sight, over a forest area of 687.38 m². The vegetation will then be maintained in subsequent years to preserve this viewpoint.
