Construction of Accommodations at Camp Vimy - Garrison Valcartier

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. The work involves the construction of eight new and identical buildings at Camp Vimy, designed to house dormitories, classrooms and washroom facilities. At the same time, the similar ablution buildings CM015, CM026, CM035 and CM045 will be refurbished into command posts, in order to better meet new operational needs and permanent occupancy of the premises.

Latest update

November 20, 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
