Phase 2 : Paving work at Quays 29 and 30

The CAPEX-0011-2 project aims to rehabilitate and optimize the pavement structure at Quays 29 and 30 of the Port of Québec. It includes excavation work, the installation of new foundations, and the application of a bituminous asphalt coating. The South section will undergo a complete infrastructure reconstruction, while the North section involves partial excavation and the completion of work initiated in the previous phase.

This project follows CAPEX-0011-1 and aims to ensure the long-term sustainability of Quays 29 and 30, improve safety and operational efficiency, and meet user needs. The work will cover an area of approximately 6,375 m².

Latest update

March 14, 2025 – The Québec Port Authority issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
