Demolition of Hangar 26

Groupe Héritage Île d'Orléans (GHIO) will proceed with the complete demolition of the Hangar 26 structure, at Quay 26 in the territory of the Quebec Port Authority (QPA). The following activities must be carried out by GHIO:

- The entire above-ground structure must be demolished, to a depth varying between 50 and 150 mm below the existing ground level, and placed in an authorized site. The plans of the existing structure will be provided by the QPA. The holes in the paving caused by the demolition will be filled with cold asphalt

- The electrical equipment attached to the existing building will be dismantled;

- The fiber optic cabinet currently in place in Hangar 26 will be moved near the site by the QPA. Close coordination between the QPA and GHIO will be maintained to ensure that the fiber optic relocation is carried out correctly.

- The surveillance camera and antenna currently hung on hangar 26 will be removed and returned to the APQ before the demolition of the hangar;

- The five light fixtures hung on the exterior of the building on the west side will be removed and returned to the APQ. All other lighting systems, both inside and outside, will be sent and disposed of in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the APQ for recycling and reuse.

- The paving and concrete slab forming the floor of hangar 26 will be preserved during GHIO's assembly operations. At the end of the work, GHIO will repair any damage caused to the surface by its activities (cracks, holes, subsidence of the paving, etc.), and will seal the cracks in the hangar's paving, all in order to waterproof the surface on the site and prevent water infiltration;

- The existing fuel tank located north of hangar 26 and its protective shelter will be moved by Groupe Océan. This equipment will not be decommissioned.
