Beaver Lake Cree Nation Water Treatment Plant

Beaver Lake Cree Nation will construct a new water treatment plant (616 sq.m.) and new sewage pumping station (40 sq.m.) complete with tie-ins to existing infrastructure. New infrastructure for the project will include construction of a new approximately 100 m long gravel surface access road; connection to and completion of two previously drilled raw water wells; tie-in to existing and extension of related underground utilities (approx. 250 m of new raw and treated water mains); and construction of new water treatment plant and sewage pumping station.


Latest update

December 24, 2024  – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
