Building Demolition - 4 Wing Cold Lake

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project to demolish Building 63 and Building 84 at 4 Wing Cold Lake. The buildings have exceeded their design life and are in poor condition. Building 63 is a single-story brick garage and Building 84 is a single-story readiness training flight facility. Both buildings are located on base at 4 Wing Cold Lake, approximately 300km northeast of Edmonton.

Latest update

March 7, 2025— The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
