TELUS Communications Inc., new radiocommunications tower (AB103721) on Beaver Lake Cree Nation lands (BLCN), in Beaver Lake Indian Reserve No. 131, near Lac Lacroix, AB.
TELUS Communications Inc. is proposing to erect a new 105m (106.5m including lightning rod) guyed radiocommunications tower on Beaver Lake Indian Reserve No. 131, near Lac Lacroix, AB. The purpose of the tower is to provide improved wireless voice and data cell phone service to the Nation (BLCN) and surrounding roadways, as well as along roadways in the area in support of public safety. The tower will be enclosed within a chain link fence and will initially house 3 panel antennas and 1 dish antenna to support a variety of communication technologies in the PCS and Cell bands. The tower may undergo periodic antenna additions, replacements, or other minor modifications.
