Fort Saskatchewan Rail Facility Project

Plains Midstream Canada ULC is proposing the construction, operation, and decommissioning of a 31-track rail yard at their existing Fort Saskatchewan Fractionation Plant and Storage Facility, located within the limits of the City of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. As proposed, the project would consist of 31 rail tracks totaling 20.2 kilometres in length.

August 18, 2014 - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency issued its environmental assessment determination and decided that an environmental assessment of the designated project is not required.
