Construction of a Retail Warehouse - 4 Wing Cold Lake

The Department of National Defence (DND), in support of the Future Fighter Capability Project, has proposed the construction of a warehouse building, with an approximate area of 2,860 m², located at 4 Wing Cold Lake property in Cold Lake, AB (total project footprint of approximately 15,000 m²).

May 25, 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
