ATCO Gate Station Project

ATCO is proposing to rebuild the natural gas station at Enoch Cree Nation, which supplies natural gas tot he River Cree Resort and Casino due to increased demand. The project will include demolition of the existing building and above-ground piping. New mechanical equipment to regulate natural gas pressure and overpressure protection will be installed.

Latest update

March 20, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
