Upgrade Range 1 at Garrison Wainwright

This project involves improvements to the existing Range 1 facility at Garrison Wainwright. Project design is scheduled for 2021. Construction is proposed for 2021 or 2022. Project activities include :
· Topographic survey
· Balanced cut and fill design to achieve a 400 metre range
· Movement of soil berms to achieve a 400 metre range

Latest update

November 6, 2021— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
