Food Sovereignty Project- Bison and Elk Farms, and Community Gardens

The project involves the creation of two community gardens, and the expansion of elk and bison pastures through the installation of perimeter and cross fencing and the installation of a corral system. The project also involves the purchase of equipment and tools related to the gardens and animal production system. The project will help the community overcome food security barriers and improve health benefits through increased access to local, traditional meats balanced with locally grown vegetables and fruits. The project is community led.
