Demolish and Upgrade Vertical Village - Garrison Wainwright

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the demolition and reclamation of structures, and construction of gravel pads. Construction is proposed for Summer/Fall 2022.

Demolition and reclamation activities include:

  • Remove concrete retaining blocks
  • Remove and stockpile existing topsoil
  • Contour existing subgrade
  • Replacement of topsoil in immediate area (as appropriate)
  • Seeding
  • Installation of coco-matting for erosion control

Construction of gravel pads activities:

  • Remove and stockpile existing topsoil
  • Construction and compaction of gravel pads
  • Replacement of topsoil in immediate area (as appropriate)
