Ochapowace First Nation is planning to build a ~13 km asphalt pathway and pedestrian bridge that will have benches and be lit by solar lighting to increase safety and connect the community.

December 30, 2025 - Housing Infrastructure Communities Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the Active Transportation for Ochapowace First Nation (the project) is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
