Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation Road Improvements

The Rural Municipality of Hazelwood will be expanding the grid road right-of-way through the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation to be able to upgrade and improve the road conditions. These improvements will increase safety for the travelling public and PRNFN members, improve the quality of life for those living, working, and enjoying the lands adjacent to the grid road, as well as contributing to the economic development and existing activities in the region. The project includes upgrading and clay capping the existing road for approximately 3 miles.
