White Bear First Nation Wastewater Upgrade Project

White Bear First Nation is proposing to construct upgrades to the wastewater system. The project includes decommissioning of existing sanitary system, construction of a new lagoon, sewage pumping station and force main. The proposed two-cell facultative lagoon site will occupy approximately 9 ha. The draft design shows two options for the secondary cells. There are also two options being considered for the force main alignment, and sewage pumping station upgrade. Project activities will include the construction of the new lagoon with associated road access, concrete dump chute, drainage system of ditches and culverts, pipe works, effluent drainage, berms, barbed wire fence and gate, and desludging area. The proposed lagoon cells will occupy portions of the following quarter sections: NE 14-09-03-W2M, NW 13-09-03-W2M, SE 23-09-03-W2M, SW 24-09-03-W2M.
