Yellow Quill First Nation New Subdivision

Yellow Quill First Nation is proposing to construct a new subdivision northwest of the community core area on approximately 35 hectares of land currently used for agricultural purposes. The proposed subdivision will consist of 40 new residential lots. The project will include site preparation activities such as topsoil stripping and earthworks required for lot grading and drainage, installation of underground utilities and roadway construction.

Latest update

July 15, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
