Perimeter Aviation LP Parking Lot

May 29, 2025 – Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. must determine whether the proposed Perimeter Aviation LP Parking Lot on Ferry Road at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Perimeter Aviation LP proposes to construct a 301 stall Parking Lot at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport, Winnipeg MB. The project involves airport security fence relocations, excavation, asphalt pavement construction, underground utility works, ditching, land drainage system installations and landscape restorations. The work will include new electrical service connections, underground and above ground electrical works including parking stall receptacles, light standards, CCTV security cameras and gate access control. The project will include construction of new paved approach to Ferry Road for new entrance and exit; complete with traffic control gates and pay stations.
