T-145 STARS Hangar Addition

December 19, 2024 – Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. must determine whether the proposed T-145 STARS Office Addition project at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

STARS propose to undertake theT-145 STARS Hangar Addition Project at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. The project area is entirely on developed lands. The project is a 585 square meter expansion of the office at the STARS hanger including new building structure, underground and above ground utilities, parking lot construction including paving, fencing, landscaping and other site works.
