T-91 VORTAC Site Decommissioning

December 11, 2024 – Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. must determine whether the proposed T-91 VORTAC site decommissioning project at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Nav Canada proposes to undertake the decommissioning of the T-91 VORTAC Buildings & Antenna at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The project involves building demolition, decommissioning overhead and underground works, removal of underground services, and site remediation.
