T-283 SkyNorth Air Apron Pavement Expansion project

December 17,  2024 – Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. must determine whether the proposed T-283 SkyNorth Air Hangar Apron Expansion project at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

SkyNorth Air Ltd. proposes to undertake the T-283 Hangar Apron Pavement Expansion project at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG), located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The project involves excavation, asphalt pavement construction, underground utility works, land drainage system installations and landscape restorations to expand the aircraft parking area at the T-283 SkyNorth Air Hangar located at 175 West Hangar Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
