Tsuut'ina Taza Park West Walmart

Walmart is proposing to construct a retail commercial building at Tsuut'ina Nation. The proposed project will be located at Taza Park West near the intersection of Glenmore Trail and Tsuut'ina Trail. The project will include the construction of a single story 13,260mcommercial building, a 552 car parking lot, a garden center, and a loading area. Project works include re-grading, the excavation of footings and foundation walls, installation of on site services, backfilling, and paving. All construction waste will be disposed of at an off reserve landfill. The project is not located near any waterbodies and is not expected to impact any migratory birds or species at risk.

September 2, 2025  – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination for the Tsuut'ina Taza Park West Walmart and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
