NPS-V South Relocation (EDA Enabling)

This project is for the construction of a Non-Passenger Screening (Vehicles) check point for access from the south end of the airfield. Transport Canada requires all personnel and vehicles entering Apron I/Critical Area to been screened prior to entering the area. This facility consists of a small building for personnel screening and a covered paved area for vehicle screening. This site selected is surrounded by developed buildings and other airport functions. The location of this site was selected due to its proximity to the Critical Area. The environmental effects are minimal as the function of the facility does not consume large quantities of energy, the site has no history of contamination, it also allows for efficient processing of vehicles/personnel working in the Critical Area.

Latest update
