Town of Banff Chain Link Fencing 111 Hawk Ave

The Town of Banff is proposing to install fencing around the former Heating Plant and Chlorination buildings located at 111 Hawk Ave. The fence will enclose a brownfield area of up to 750 m2. The purpose of the fencing is to use outdoor area for the storage of non-conditioned lumber, supplies and some small equipment. The work is planned as soon as the proposed project is approved.


Latest update

July 18 2024 – Parks Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Parks Canada is inviting public comments until August 17, 2024 respecting that determination.
