Maintenance Dredge 8081 River Road, Delta

The proposed project

Envirochem Service Incorporated (the Applicant) is proposing to complete maintenance dredging at 8081 River Road (the Project) in Delta. The Project consists of maintenance dredging within an identical historical polygon of 2500 cubic meters to a design depth of -6.5 meters chart datum. Dredging to be completed using a clamshell and flat or dump scows which would be towed to Point Grey Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Disposal at Sea disposal site under permit. The total volume of dredged material to be less than 4000 cubic meters.

July 25, 2024– As part of its Project and Environmental Review process, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority must determine whether the proposed Maintenance Dredge, located at 8081 River Road, Delta, are likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. Written comments to be received by August 23, 2025.
