Thessalon First Nation - Lot Servicing Project

Thessalon First Nation proposed this project to clear, service and prepare 12 lots to accommodate future houses. Each lot are planned to be >2,000 m2 within the community. Physical activities include earth works related to site preparation and clearing, drainage, driveway/culvert, service extensions, and hydro connection.

Latest update

February 10, 2025 - The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause adverse environmental effects.

December 18, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until January 18, 2025 respecting the determination.
