Water Distribution Network Replacement and Storm and Sanitary Network Rehabilitation at 15 Wing Moose Jaw

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The project objective is to replace the sanitary and storm sewer lines that have exceeded 50% or more of their serviceable life and replace the potable water distribution network across 15 Wing Moose Jaw in a series of six (6) phases.

The scope of work includes:

  • Pipe excavation,
  • Pipe replacement,
  • Pipe repair,
  • Pipe lining,
  • Manhole and catch basin replacement (complete or partial),
  • Manhole and catch basin repair,
  • General maintenance, and
  • Reclamation of excavations

May 13, 2024 - The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
