Woods Trail Bridge Replacement and Water Course Alteration – 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This project addresses safety concerns with the Brightwater Creek crossing at Woods Bridge within 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn Range and Training Area.

The Work entails the following:

  1. Channel rerouting upstream and downstream along with riparian stabilization
  2. Embankment re-grading
  3. Installation of new single span bridge crossing, structure, and foundation
  4. Gravel approaches to new bridge
    1. Tie south approach into Woods Trail
    2. Tie north approach into existing gravel road
