Stoney Big Horn AORHS and Health Center Project

Stoney Nakoda Nation plans to build a Head Start and a health center north of the existing school on the Big Horn 144A Reserve. The Head Start and health center will share a parking lot. The proposed project will require vegetation clearing, grubbing, and leveling. Development of the site will include an appropriate site drainage plan to allow for run off to be properly managed


Latest update

December 21, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
