Pursuit Miette Mountain Cabins Redevelopment

Pursuit Attractions and Hospitality Inc. has submitted a Master Plan for the Miette Mountain Cabins Outlying Commercial Accommodation (OCA). The project will be done in several phases with anticipated completion in 2028. The plan proposes the following: demolition of end-of-life cabins; expansion of the parking lot; landscaping changes; upgrades to site access and internal roads; renovations to existing cabins and main lodge; and the construction of new guest cabins and a new staff housing lodge. 

Latest update

March 19, 2026 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
