Valley Fiber Limited Radiocommunication Tower on Fairford First Nation Reserve No. 50

Valley Fiber Limited is proposing a new 59 metre radiocommunication tower located on the Fairford First Nation Reserve No. 50. The tower will be built to improve network access of high-speed internet to the community's businesses and members. It will include guy-wire anchors and two sets of four-sector antennas. In the future, the tower may have other antennas and other radiocommunication equipment added or replaced.

2026-06-25 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.  To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting public comments until July 26, 2026 respecting that determination.
