Modification to Poplar River First Nation Radiocommunication Tower at Poplar River, MB

Poplar River First Nation is proposing to add a 2 element dipole antenna to the radiocommunication tower at Poplar River. The new antenna will be used as part of a Very High Frequency (VHF) communication system used by the band. The antenna will be mounted at 10.7m above ground level. In the future, the tower may have other antennas and other radiocommunication equipment added or replaced.

2024-07-15 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada has issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. .
