This plant will be expensive and increase NB Power’s reliance on volatile fracked gas from the United States at a time when renewable energy and storage is becoming cheaper than fossil fuels. As wildfires burn across this country, we need to turn down the heat of climate change, not turn it up by burning more fracked gas and diesel.
