This project makes no sense in an ecologically sensitive area and when it is too late for new fossil fuels infrastructure

It is unwise and short-sighted to build a project like this (1) on the Chignecto Isthmus, an ecological corridor, wetland area, and essential habitat for biodiversity, and (2) when climate impacts are intensifying and it is urgent to transition away from fossil fuels and gas-powered energy. It is also alarming (and frankly, embarrassing and shameful) that there has not been a full consultation process with Indigenous Nations, local governments, and the public.
