I'd like to leave a comment as a concerned local citizen of the Tantramar area regarding the proposed power plant in the centre village area.

This project unnecessarily puts our natural resources at risk. The land connection between NS and NB, the provinces only wildlife rehabilitation centre (Atlantic Wildlife Instittute), and the local water supply for folks living directly adjacent to the proposed site would all be at high risk if this plant were to be built.

I strongly disagree with this project and the environmental assessments that have been done to date.
