Not it

I am a resident of Sackville, NB that attended one of the earlier Zoom sessions in July as well as a Q&A in our town tonight. The irony to attend the session tonight in the same building our municipality has had to set up a cooling center due to record breaking, climate change-fueled heat. The anger to have to sit through swarmy non-responses by Proenergy when has been the region's dryest summer in 50+ years and we've all been tip toeing around not entering our local parks and woods, holding our breath any time we hear fire truck sirens. My concern is the same as the 100+ people gathered tonight, representative of thousands more in our community: wastewater management, irreversible ecological damage, migratory animal and bird populations, human health and wellbeing, is our public utility acting in the public's best interest and on and on. There has got to be a viable alternative energy generating project that NB Power can get behind. This one is not it.
