Northern Breakwater Extension at La Scie SCH, NL

The proposed project at La Scie SCH includes the extension of the existing northern breakwater. Armourstone and filter stone located at the tip of the existing breakwater will be removed down to -5.0 m elevation and re-used to facilitate the construction of the new breakwater extension. The new breakwater extension will extend approximately 50 m to the southwest. The breakwater extension will be sloped similarly to the existing breakwater and the filter stone and armourstone will be blended with the existing breakwater during construction. The existing navigational light will be removed and relocated to the new breakwater extension.
