Airport Surface Infrastructure Improvements, St. Anthony, NL

Transport Canada is proposing necessary surface infrastructure upgrades at the St. Anthony Airport, NL. Work will consist of milling the runway, taxiway, apron, parking lot and airport access road to a depth of 40 mm and resurfacing with new Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete (HMAC). Regrading the shoulders of the paved aircraft movement areas, as well as rehabilitating concrete curb, gutter, and catch basins to enhance drainage will also be undertaken. Lighting, marking, and signage upgrades will also be done to ensure adherence to TP312 Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices 5th edition. At the same time, existing water and sewer lines located underneath the paved surface adjacent to the Airport Terminal Building (ATB) and Maintenance Garage will be replaced and these areas repaved
