Kainai Forage Processing Plant Storage Expansion Project

Blood Tribe is proposing the construction of additional metal hay storage barns and gravel access between barns, on the site of Kainai Forage, formally Blood Tribe Forage Processing Plant. Expansion will enable the Tribe's business to grow from 20,000 Metric tonnes of hay export per annum to over 100,000 Metric tonnes per annum.

March 23, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/134335 and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects..
