BB-Pool Deep Cathodic Anode Bed and Rectifier Installation - Canadian Forces Base Suffield

Rockpoint AECO Gas Storage Partnership is requesting authorization to perform the following work on the Canadian Forces Base Suffield Military Range. This project requires the installation of a new Cathodic rectifier to be installed at LSD 4-22-18-9W4M and to drill and new deep cathodic anode bed at LSD 4-22-18-9W4M, we then will need to trench in a return cable from the Cathodic rectifier site LSD4-22-18-9W4M out approximately 1500 meters to LSD102-16-15-18-9 W4M and connect it to our existing infrastructure. This project is required to provide adequate corrosion protection to our existing infrastructure in the BB-pool areas.

September 24, 2023— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
