Mathias Colomb Cree Nation Nursing Station Replacement

The proposed project is to construct a new Nursing Station with associated heated garage building and drive-in and residences, for a total estimate project footprint of 3,324 sq m,  in Mathias Colomb Cree Nation. It will be located in an area previously cleared near the east shore of the Churchill River (Pukatawagan Lake).


Latest update

Feburary 15, 2026 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigneous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
