Latvia - Ceri Military Base - Vehicle Storage Building

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The project involves the building of a 11,000 square meters of footprint permanent building, designed for vehicle storage with capacity for up to 48 military vehicles. The building will also include a classroom, small offices, and storage rooms for vehicle kit, weapons, and communications systems. The construction will occur on developed land with existing gravel lot for outdoor vehicle storage.

March 29, 2026 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
