Adazi - Engineer Squadron Temporary Facilities

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This project is a semi-permanent facility with a 5-10 year anticipated life. It includes the construction of concrete pads and a temporary tent structure on top. Electricity and communications will be installed for the structure as well as local drainage to manage rainwater. The project is performed on developed land that has been graded and had aggregate applied as the ground material. The general site area has been in use since at least 2024 for vehicle operations and seacan storage.

Latest update

April 10, 2026— The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
