This is a great step forward in energy independence, reliability, and averting climate change

I fully support the construction of the Bruce C new nuclear power plant in Ontario. Nuclear energy is essential in our fight against climate change, providing clean, reliable power that significantly reduces our carbon emissions. This project will create good jobs, boost the local economy, and ensure a stable energy supply for the future. Given that the site already exists and is colocated with the existing two Bruce A and B sites, the environmental impact will be minimal, while also contained by an organization (Bruce Power) That has an excellent track record of operating responsibly and safely, and with excellent indigienous engagement. This is a no-brainer of a project to proceed!

Nuclear power is incredibly reliable and safe, with modern plants designed to the highest safety standards. Canada already has a strong track record of safely operating nuclear facilities for decades, demonstrating our ability to manage this technology effectively. Plus, it offers energy security and independence, protecting us from the volatility of global energy markets.

This project is a smart investment in our province and country's future, both environmentally and economically. I encourage its approval and look forward to the benefits it will bring.
