Support for Bruce C

Ontario requires greater electricity capacity from low emissions sources to meet future demands. This should be coupled with conservation measures; however further electrification is needed and building this capacity takes time. The Bruce C project is the most viable option for Ontario.

Bruce Power and the regulatory bodies involved in assessment and approvals and oversight have proven to be resposnsible in their approach. With ongoing committments to environmental monitoring by governments and local groups (including Indigenous groups), socioeconomic studies and ongoing public engagement, this project can be implemented responsibly. I am writing to express my support.
