CEAR, Information Request

Hello,

I am strongly urging the federal government to take the opportunity to undertake a full panel review of this project.

For far too long the corporations have been left to regulate themselves with little to no oversight by the provincial government and we are at a critical juncture of the future of the fishery of the Elk River and the Westslope Cutthroat Trout and Bull Trout.

This is an opportunity, finally, for an unbiased review of this out of control selenium problem. Let’s make sure that we do as full a review as possible. With an independent panel

This is a much greater issue than the neighbouring Grassy Mountain project which is currently in a panel review. So it would seem out of step not to go full panel with this one.

I am a 7th generation Elk Valley resident. My mom was raised on fish for breakfast out of the Elk River. If I wanted to raise my kids the same way, they would get selenium poisoning.  

Please, do a full review.
