Notice of Determination

Toronto, Ontario; 2024-06-17 – Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) has determined that the proposed Airport Tennis Facility Project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects, as long as all mitigation measures are applied.

Potential environmental effects will be managed through technically and economically feasible mitigation measures and implemented for the following: air, water, soil and vegetation.

Mitigation measures taken into account for this determination include:

• All work to be conducted in compliance with the Toronto Pearson Airport Construction Code.
• The contractor has submitted plans for waste management, soil management, sediment and erosion control, vegetation restoration and environmental emergency spill response.
• Mitigation measures are documented in the Environmental Effects Evaluation and can be obtain upon request.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
