Proposed Project

Mosquito Grizzly Bear's Head Lean Man First Nation is proposing the construction of the Core Area Subdivision project. The proposed project has two phases of development including 32 lots in Phase 1 and an additional 35 lots in Phase 2 within
Sec 33-040-16 W3M .  The lot layout utilizes a standard 30 m lot frontage plan. There are 2 points of access planned to effectively distribute internal traffic and enable emergency access. Where possible, the internal road network is located outside low-lying areas to mitigate the potential for flooding.  The lots have no back neighbors, cul-de-sacs provide extra spacing, and minimal trees will be removed during construction to create a barrier between each lot. It will include roadwork and site preparation, trench excavation and backfill, pressure pipe, gravity domestic sewer, building services and utilities.

Minimal construction waste will be generated, which will be deposited in the local landfill located on the reserve.  No hazardous waste is expected to be generated by this project.
